Welcome to AiAlongside. By downloading, installing, or using the AiAlongside mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. About the App

AiAlongside is a wellness and nutrition tracking application featuring an AI-powered health coach called Tommy. The App helps users track meals, exercise, weight, hydration, and other wellness metrics.

2. Not Medical Advice

AiAlongside is a wellness product, not a medical device or service. The App and Tommy do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information provided is for general wellness and informational purposes only.

Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, exercise routine, or health regimen. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to transmit harmful or abusive content
• Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App

5. Subscription & Payment

AiAlongside offers subscription-based access through the Apple App Store:

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled

6. AI Coach (Tommy)

Tommy is powered by artificial intelligence. You understand that:

• Tommy is not a human coach, doctor, nutritionist, or licensed health professional
• Tommy's responses are AI-generated and may occasionally contain errors
• Tommy's coaching is based on general wellness principles and your self-reported data
• You should verify any nutritional information before making dietary decisions

7. Nutrition Data Accuracy

Nutrition data comes from third-party sources including USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts, and Edamam. Nutrition values are estimates and may vary. The App is not intended for use by individuals who require precise nutritional monitoring for medical conditions.

8. Your Data

You retain ownership of all personal data you provide. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and use your data solely to provide and improve the App. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and the Tommy AI coach character, are owned by AiAlongside and protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIALONGSIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
